Active Underwriting Specialists was created in London in 2005 by a group of insurance professionals with a strong passion for Sport and Leisure insurance. The focus of Active is to underwrite profitable business in the fast growing sectors of Leisure and Pro Sport.

With the Active underwriting team having over 80 years collective experience in the insurance industry, 30 of those years focused primarily on Leisure and Pro Sport, we are driven to provide professional insurance solutions to clients requiring Accident, Liability, Property and Contingency insurances.

Active is determined to be a technologically advanced organisation. Online services that will soon be available will include secure facilities for brokers to view policies and request quotes as well as interactive services for clients via this website.

Based in our newly refurbished offices in the London Underwriting Centre, Active primarily trade with a selected number of Intermediaries who are able to demonstrate their specialisation in the Leisure and Pro Sport sectors. Our capabilities also extend to overseas.
